Patrol Car Rear-Ends SEPTA BUS: PA State Police

A police patrol car rear-ended a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority bus, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The crash happened on East Ridge Road before the intersection with Cosgrove Street in Trainer Borough at 11:32 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, PA State Police detailed in the release. 

The SEPTA bus was westbound and a Trainer Borough police Ford Interceptor, driven by Officer Jason Donnelly, was following behind, according to PSP Media Trooper Ryan Wolk. The patrol car's front bumper struck the rear bumper of the bus, Wolk explained.

It was unknown if there were any injuries, according to the state police incident report.

It appears no charges were filed in this case.
